RESIDENTIAL HOME INSPECTIONS
A detailed and comprehensive home inspection, providing a thorough examination of the interior and exterior components and major systems; including heating, insulation, foundation, slope and drainage, roofing, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, structure, and much more. Our inspection fees also include an infrared thermal imaging scan of the home at no additional cost.
Upon completion of the physical home inspection, additional time is allotted for a personal consultation and in-depth walkthrough with the Inspector (either in person at the site, or by telephone). Our detailed, web-based inspection report is ready for you on the day of the inspection and includes color photos, explanations and helpful recommendations about the issues that were found in the home. Residential inspections are also available for pre-purchased, pre-listed, pre-delivered, and rented homes! Ongoing support and consultation is available to you for as long as you own the home.
SEPTIC INSPECTIONS & REPAIRS
Like Discovery Inspection services, our award winning Drain Doctors Septic inspections are exceedingly thorough and are performed to the highest standards by Septic Inspectors who have been trained and accredited through the Canadian Onsite Wastewater Institute. Drain Doctors is also a member in good standing with the WWCOWMA-BC, a chapter of the Western Canada Onsite Wastewater Management Association. We are pleased to be able to provide the services of our Registered Onsite Wastewater Practitioner (ROWP) for both installation and design services as well. Our expertise ensures that clients receive a thorough, unbiased inspection and report, assisting them in making an informed decision with respect to their real estate purchases.
Our Septic Inspections include inspection and assessment of the tank, outlet pipes, distribution box, and septic drain field. Dye testing, infrared thermal imaging of the tank, and a detailed inspection of the drain lines with a 200 ft scope camera and closed circuit television are included in this fee. We are very pleased to have AHERA Certified Hazardous Material Inspectors available for Hazmat Surveys on Vancouver Island. Sample collection, laboratory testing, recommendations and a comprehensive report are included in this service.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We respectfully request 72 hours cancellation notice in order to allow a reasonable opportunity to re-book another inspection in that spot. Rescheduling or cancellation of an inspection can be done directly through a link in the confirmation email or by speaking to someone in our office during regular business hours. We regret that cancellations made less than 24 hours before the inspection are non-refundable.
